As a present third year who does a lot of these, I can’t help but wonder why scut is so prevalent on medical student rotations….

Yeah, it drives me nuts too. Scut that actually teaches you something worthwhile, sure. But the majority of scut is other people’s dirty work and I actually have a big problem with that. We don’t get paid for it, WE PAY. And have to study.
