The Other Side

This was my first piece, written after one of my oldest friends had died in a MVC and I had the experience of being in the ER when they brought in a patient of similar age who’d suffered a similar fate.

A Labor Of Love

This was the piece that I’ve been asked about during all my interviews, that exposed me to dozens of practicing physicians who emailed me their thanks and one rather unhappy gentleman who told me to drop out of medical school. It taught me how to take criticism and not be beaten down by it.
